B-W
scholarships are renewable as long as the student meets the minimum criteria set
for the award as shown below. Following
Fall Semester, the Financial Aid Office begins to renew B-W scholarships.
Notices are sent to those students who have not met minimum scholarship
criteria. The student has until the
start of the following Fall Semester to meet the minimum scholarship criteria.
Scholarship assistance will be removed from the student’s aid award if
the minimum criteria have not been met at that time.
A
student may make an appeal for the renewability of a scholarship if they have
sufficient reasons to do so. These
reasons should be clearly stated in a letter addressed to the Director of
Financial Aid. Because scholarships
are primarily awarded based on academic potential, it is incumbent upon the
student to show why they failed to meet the minimum scholarship academic
criteria.
NOTE: Academic scholarships are only awarded to FULL-TIME
students.
